Turn Key Mechanical Integrity Testing
Logging, Data Analysis, and Report Generation
Since 1985 Sonic Surveys provides all services involved with conducting Mechanical Integrity Testing in accordance with the guidelines set forth by state and local regulations. We provide state of the art pressure monitoring and nitrogen flow meters and experienced testing supervisors. A detailed written report of the test procedures, results, and conclusions of the test will be furnished for the customer.
We utilize Paro-scientific Quartz Pressure Transducers coupled to a Campbell Scientific data logger. These are laboratory quality instruments with certified accuracies of 0.01% of the full range. We have 0-1000 psia, 0-2000 psia, and 0-3000 psia transducers, unlike typical oilfield wellhead gauges that are generally 0-15K psi. We have equipped these boxes with real-time data readout on our logging software screen for more accurate, and processable volumes for nitrogen strapping data. We now have remote access to the field data loggers through cell phones embedded in the hardware that use two different service providers to ensure complete coverage at any location. This gives the client and us, real-time access to the well pressures on our website under a secure password protected personal page. We can set up a box as soon as the rig is off the wellhead, allow monitoring of the brine stablization from the safety of your home/office and indication when the well is ready for the nitrogen injection and other long duration tests.
